Incredible sushi! The TNT roll is to die for and so fresh!! We also ordered the Alaskan Roll, Local Roll (ours featured fresh caught snapper), and a baked roll—which we learned we preferred cold sushi. Also got the hamachi carpaccio which was okay, personally didn’t enjoy the texture. Staff was friendly-can’t wait for our next visit and hope the new location opens soon!

Presentation and service was awesome. The fish grade was not great. Ahi tuna used for the poke roll was disappointing and price point to be disappointing was even worse. I paid over 70.00 for one sushi roll, 2 pieces of sashimi, a large hot sake, and a pint of beer.

One of the best sushi places in the island. Every time I’ve been here the food has been fantastic. The service is fast, friendly, and always helpful. Definitely a must when in Maui

I usually stay in West Maui and have always wanted to try Miso Phat at their original location, but it has typically been too busy to get a table. On this trip, it was great to see they opened a South Maui location, and we were able to get a dinner reservation easily, which was a nice change.
The restaurant itself is very nice, with a welcoming atmosphere, and the service throughout the evening was friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the food did not quite meet my expectations. It was not bad, but I had been looking forward to something more memorable given the restaurant’s reputation. In fact, I would say the sushi I have back home on the mainland is better, which surprised me considering Maui’s access to fresh fish.
Overall, I am glad we finally tried it, especially in a more convenient location, but the dining experience did not fully live up to the anticipation.

I love this place. I’ve seen a lot of reviews from YouTube travel bloggers. It looked nice in camera so I decided to try. O my godness… life won’t be the same again. The freshest fish I’ve ever consumed in my life. All the sushi, sashimi and home made ice cream were gorgeous! Go there. Try!!!
