I was a returning customer and came to this restaurant excited to eat. We drove an extra 20 mins to come back here. I ordered the arugula omelette and when I ate it, I realized it didn't have the avocado in it. The waitress then told me that they had run out of avocado however, no one told me this when I ordered it. I actually had ordered this omelette specifically because I wanted avocado and I let them know this. Their consideration for this lack of communication and total miss of expectations was a credit of three dollars on my bill as avocado isn't very expensive (this was literally the explanation I was given). This specifically was a very poor customer experience and i did not feel valued (waitresses were nice and attentive). I will not be returning. If they had offered to make me something different or even gave me a couple of pastries, I would've been happy. This was not a cheap place to eat. It was almost $180 for five people to eat breakfast so this is another reason why I feel they truly missed expectations. .

Tucked in 'downtown' Haiku (Country vibe), this restaurant is a locals' favourite but visitors are certainly welcome because the entire staff is friendly, cheerful and welcoming. The food is solid, it has everything one can ask for. Bar area is comfy and lively. If you happen to cruise by the town of Haiku, make sure to stop by for a meal (breakfast, dinner) or great Happy Hour.

Wow, I never knew a restaurant of this caliber would be found in Haiku! Luckily we were invited to dinner by a close friend.
ATMOSPHERE:
Small & cozy. Don't let the exterior of the mall deter you.
FOOD:
Vodka Penne
I liked it a tad better than the version at Marcos because it wasn't over powered with garlic. Flavor was good - savory, cheesy and not overly sweet. I would opt for linguine pasta next time as I'm not a fan of tube pastas.
SERVICE:
Fast, efficient & friendly. Reservations are recommended because its a small place.
OVERALL:
I want to go back and have breakfast, since most reviews on here say it's awesome. But, dinner was great too!

We stopped in to see the area and found this place. Very quaint and friendly.
We ordered a tuna melt and the upcountry beef burger. Both were perfectly prepared and fresh. We shared an order of fries as the portion was very generous. Love the crispy battered fries.
We picked up a couple of pastries for the road as they looked great and tasted just as great for breakfast the next day.
Highly recommended.
