Food was great! We got the turkey pesto and chicken salad sandwiches. They were both fantastic, and the fries were amazing. We arrived just before Happy Hour started, and it seemed like the staff was scrambling a bit trying to get the bar side of the restaurant open. Our server was kind, though quite busy.
Great spot in Maui where the locals go. It’s located in a little strip mall in Haiku and has an awesome, open air vibe to it. The exterior doesn’t look great but trust me once inside it feels very Hawaiian. We love coming here for breakfast before heading out on a hike or exploring Hana highway. Eggs Benedict is my favorite - also the pancakes and French toast are very good.
We stopped in to see the area and found this place. Very quaint and friendly. We ordered a tuna melt and the upcountry beef burger. Both were perfectly prepared and fresh. We shared an order of fries as the portion was very generous. Love the crispy battered fries. We picked up a couple of pastries for the road as they looked great and tasted just as great for breakfast the next day. Highly recommended.
Good breakfast in Haiku! Gluten free options if you ask (got a GF bun with my greek omelette) which was such a nice surprise. Very low key restaurant, had a good selection of food and drinks if you want. Very cute!
We ate at Colleen’s for breakfast after our ride down Haleakala. The menu wasn’t expansive, but it seemed that all that they had would be excellent. Our waiter was super friendly. I ended up getting an omelet with bacon, cheese, and avocado. It was super tasty, and everyone else in my party enjoyed their meals. I definitely recommend Colleen’s for breakfast after your ride down Haleakala.
