The food is great! I recommend the 69 roll and on the specials the baked Salmon roll. I would also like to give customers a heads up, I HIGHLY recommend you making a reservation (because there are only a certain amount of tables) and BYOB. Keep in mind there are 2 hard working people running the place, so please show some patience.
Lovely hidden gem... Beneath the covered parking & beyond the unassuming decor there is a most delightful Mother & Son duo bringing fresh fish flown from Japan & across the Hawaiian Island chain. Beautiful presentation, delicious fish, & kind hosts, what more does one need? It's BYOB so remember to bring a bottle of your favorite or, in a pinch, stop by the liquor store across the street. Enjoy!
Aloha special was good. Toro was yummy. I do surprise about the location. good foods like this should be out on the main street, but then, I wonder if it's still good if it does. Will come back 4 sure.
As someone who eats a lot of sushi, I definitely recommend this place. The sushi clearly was very high quality, with each part of the roll having attention to it. We had the garlic seared tuna, salmon roll, vegetarian roll, and eel and avocado roll, and each of them was really top notch. I was surprised that even the more American style roll (the garlic seared tuna) still had a very authentic taste to it despite being fusion
Decent place for sushi. We wanted omakase since we couldn't get a reservation at Koiso. Good price and we liked the sushi omakase better than the sashimi. Toro was chu toro not o-toro. Didn't have to wait and tables indoors are safely distanced. Would definitely try out.
