Lovely hidden gem...
Beneath the covered parking & beyond the unassuming decor there is a most delightful Mother & Son duo bringing fresh fish flown from Japan & across the Hawaiian Island chain.
Beautiful presentation, delicious fish, & kind hosts, what more does one need?
It's BYOB so remember to bring a bottle of your favorite or, in a pinch, stop by the liquor store across the street.
Enjoy!

As someone who eats a lot of sushi, I definitely recommend this place. The sushi clearly was very high quality, with each part of the roll having attention to it. We had the garlic seared tuna, salmon roll, vegetarian roll, and eel and avocado roll, and each of them was really top notch. I was surprised that even the more American style roll (the garlic seared tuna) still had a very authentic taste to it despite being fusion

Favorite spot in the neighborhood. All the classics and a few twists of their own as well.

Sushi rolls where good quality. The oyster shooters are sweet and not what I had at any other restaurant. Fast service, casual atmosphere

Martin is our favorite sushi chef! Always grade A rolls and sashimi. The hamachi kama is to die for. His mother and him are always inviting and friendly. Definitely our favorite underground spot to eat!
