Fun place to visit. Ordered Shrimp and chips. Although it was good it was nothing special. However my friend had the seafood pasta and it was to die for. Another had the blackened fish and it too was a success. So try something extraordinary.
The food was good and fresh, the fried shrimp was hot and crispy. I had the grilled tuna, big pieces, nicely grilled with good seasoning. The line is long for lunch time but they are moving very fast, we only waited like 5-10 minutes. The price was about $60 for two people.
Awesome spot for fresh fish. We came here a few times during our stay in Maui. It's a short walk if you're staying in Kihei. You can order inside and we sat outside on their patio. This place gets pretty crowded during dinner time but not a big deal on the wait. The blackened mahi mahi is a crowd's favorite but I'm not a huge fan of white fish. My favorite was the ahi tuna. Your fresh catch plate also comes with side. You can choose from the Cajun rice, homemade potatoes, French fries, etc.
I should have listened to my fellow reviewers and avoided coming here, or at least I should not have ordered the fish plate. The snapper I ordered was so rubbery; it was inedible. The clam chowder was not only bland but also lukewarm when we received it. We had to ask them to warm it up for us, which, as you know, could be problematic. The seafood pasta lacked flavor. The drinks were watery. The only good dish we had was the fish taco. Please come here only for that.
Delicious food! The food was fresh, well seasoned and appealing. We enjoyed it so much, we went again the next day. We had the grilled Mahi Mahi with Cajun rice. I will definitely go again next time I’m in Maui
