Local diner with classic American and Hawaiian options. Came here for a late lunch prior to going to Haleakala. I ordered the saimin with veggies and my friend had a tuna melt. We split a Kona mud pie as well. Credit cards are accepted as well as cash. You pay at the register once you’ve received your check. This felt like a homey, local spot. We enjoyed our meal and its cool to see that places with reasonably priced food still exists. There was free parking in the front and back.

Had a wonderful breakfast and tried Loco Moco for the first time, also got the macadamia nut pancake- no wonder they are “world famous”…and look at that amazing corn bread! Everything was delicious and a very friendly local atmosphere. Can’t wait to return to Maui and visit Tasty Crust again for sure!

This place was recommended to me by a friend. I got the loco moco and a short stack of the banana mac nut pancakes. I wish I'd gotten a full stack because that pancake was very tasty.

Great diner and amazing service. My wife was undecided and our amazing hosts recommendation absolutely hit the spot. We will be back before we head home. Seems like a wonderful spot for locals as we saw plenty of hugs and smiles.

Not a bad spot to stop and eat a quick breakfast. Prices are good too, but not my type of breakfast.
